Happy Long Life
30″ X 30″
Oil and Encaustic

I found the photo of this child in Viet Nam while on a bicycle touring that country. I was struck by the average young age of the population there. Of course the war was the reason and this innocent child represents hope for their nation today. The graffiti in white was taken from street art in kanji which became the title of this piece. It also became my holiday card.
