Alongside the River Ganges in India I spotted this graffiti! I decided to paint my version of it, then realizing that it was a sacred cow whose symbolism includes: gives more than she takes, protector of the family and held in high esteem by the village. I’d been painting a Holy Cow with a halo inscribed in gold! I’ve contacted the nearby ashram of Pujya Swamiji to help me find the original artist so I can contribute to him and his craft.
